Founder of Chamber Music Silicon Valley, 2019 "On the Stage" SVLaureate, SVCreates' X-Factor Arts Prizewinner, and Professor of Performance Practice, Global Music, and Community Engagement at Santa Clara University as well as the Professor of Flute at San Jose State University, Ráyo Furuta is equally renowned for his visionary curation and performance as a concertizing flutist. He also serves as the curator for the weekly Bay Area concert series, Music@Noon and is an alumnus of the Multicultural Artist Leadership Institute.

Chamber Music Silicon Valley (CMSV) is on a mission to change the relationship that Silicon Valley communities have with Classical Music and establish social relevance for the art by innovatively creating a cross pollination of artistic mediums and multi-sensory, hybridized experiences. In this vibrant tech region, we seek to bring vitality and an entrepreneurial spirit to our local music scene. Our fresh and hip approach to performance respects traditions while promoting dynamic creativity and constant development. We strive to produce concerts and educational programs that are musically and financially accessible to broad audiences, culminating in our ultimate goal to become a catalyst for musical ingenuity.
